Tru Davies enfrenta o passado com o poder de conseguir mudar o futuro quando começa a trabalhar no necrotério de sua cidade. Em sua primeira noite no trabalho, enquanto estava sozinha, se assusta com o corpo recém chegado de uma mulher que abre os olhos e pede ajuda.
