Durante uma excursão com seus alunos, o professor Ralph Hanley é sequestrado por ETs, junto com o agente secreto do FBI Bill Maxwell. Ao contrário do que pode parecer, os ETs querem auxiliar a Terra a solucionar seus problemas. Para isso, dão a Hanley um uniforme de Super-Herói para que ele ajude o agente Maxwell a salvar a humanidade. Como o professor Hanley não é nada organizado, acaba perdendo o manual de instruções que vinha junto com a roupa de Super-Herói. Como consequência, Hanley não consegue voar direito e acaba sempre derrubando uma parede ou se chocando contra o solo. Tudo fica muito pior quando ele veste seu super uniforme. O agente Maxwell tem grande dificuldade em fazer com que seu amigo fantasiado não se meta em encrencas maiores do que já tem.

While practicing flying in the desert with Bill, Ralph gets a vision of a plane crash. It's the suit showing it to him, and Bill can only see it when he touches Ralph. They rush to the scene to find no plane, and figure out that it must be something that hasn't happened yet, and they're supposed to prevent it. We come to find out that Pam is on that plane, and it's been hijacked. To make matters worse, the plane has an experimental cloaking device that makes it invisible to radar, and the Air Force would rather shoot it down than have the plane in enemy hands.
