Una peculiar guía de viajes del canal británico Sky 1, en la que Karl Pilkington, que afirma que no tiene ningún interés en viajar ni salir de Inglaterra, es enviado a visitar las Nuevas Siete Maravillas del Mundo, aunque a veces se confunda y acabe yendo a alguna de las del mundo antiguo, como las pirámides de Egipto. Cada capítulo sigue las reacciones de Pilkington a lo que se va encontrando en el viaje, mientras Gervais y Merchant comentan desde Londres sus evoluciones.
